From the low-slung light of winter to the intense rays of the summer, the star is right there above me. I have no need to go elsewhere.
Expanding on the series Chasing Suns, I have in the last year been recording at intervals the sun's daily journey across the sky. Images are made using a 1920s folding camera and a darkroom enlarger converted into a camera.
After spending time making work in locations that have an abundance of sunlight, I decided to focus my attention in one place. This allowed me to observe daily and nurture an intimate re-connection and understanding of the sky.
