Monoliths (Light Line)

Over the course of one day, the arc of the Sun’s journey is captured using a handmade camera.

The completed image is segmented into upright rectangles or 'monoliths’ before being hand printed onto expired silver gelatin paper.  The physical marks of light that has travelled over 93million miles to reach our Earth, leaves a permanent record of it's existence as a simple reconfigured line.
